Question:Does anyone know of any upcoming 10K's or 1/2 marathons anywhere around
the Boston area? I am interested in trying to move up from the 5K races,
and I am looking for some races in the area to give it a try.

They have lots of races listed. You can even find entry forms for some
races.
The New Bedford 1/2 Marathon is on March 17th. Call (508)998-5068 for
info. It's not exactly boston area but it's a great race with great
shirts!

There is also a 10-miler in Sharon this Sunday which should be a good
race. It's the rebirth of the Old Fashioned Ten Miler which had been run
for many years by the Sharon Road Runners. Good size field expected. Call

There is the St. Patrick's Road Ract on March 16 in Holyoke (413)
534-3301, the Eastern Mass Championship on March 25 in Needham (Andrew
blume, 11 Synnyside Ave, Wellesly Ma 02181), and the Groton Road Race
