Question:
Marathon : The Ultimate Training Guide by Hal Higdon
Here's the link: http://tinyurl.com/6kwcm
Has anyone here read it? Is it useful in preparing for a marathon?
Any better suggestions?
Answer:It's a great book, but you won't follow it anyway, so why ask? It certainly
says nothing about eating like a caveman. lol!
And, you've already said you're only going to run 3 times a week, and ONLY
run a 12 mile run once a month (!!!!), so why bother asking knowleageble,
intelligent runners their opinions? To show off?

Hal Higdon's Marathon training guide.
if you're a veteran, don't bother. however, if you're a novice, it might be helpful
I agree. As a first time marathoner, I'm following Jeff Galloways training
plan. I honestly don't know if I could make it without his 5 minutes running
and 1 minute walking. I'm documenting my experience on my website as I go
along, and many people who have run marathons before have told me this is the
correct plan to follow.
