Question:
My fiance and I plan to visit Italy sometime soon. I am thinking that the
Venice Marathon (in October) or the Florence Marathon (in November) would
be great motivation to get back on a serious training schedule (my last
marathon was Boston '96).
Has anyone here had experience with either of these marathons? Any
suggestions?
We would like to run the Florence Marathon this year. I know it is in
December, but I don't know the exact date. Is it a nice run?
We would like also information on the weather.
Answer:Yeah, I've been there and even though there's a few sidewalks, they
are really narrow! It would be hard to imagine a full marathon
being possible, unless you're doing MANY circles arount St. Mark's
Square or something ;-)
