1.The guy who came in 2nd in the half marathon is a busy Kenyan.
He won 2 of the last 3 local races I was in. I'm actually getting to
know him a little, but the Kenyans who train here in Hamilton
are more friendly. A couple of them actually know my name
now, and I have been invited to run with them a couple times.
One day I just might, if they go slow enough for me!!
Answer:1.You're right about Kamau. He won the Long Beach Marathon the week before this
race. I talked to some of the Kenyans after the race and they were pretty
chatty. I tried to get some phone numbers for the single guys here (and you
know who you are) but the women did a choreographed move away from me. I
wonder why .
with your performance, you'll be there. While I wouldn't know, I've
heard that winning races becomes addictive.
