Question: 1.Hi all. My Casio SDB 300W watch has died and they don't make it
anymore!!! Any good suggestions? My Casio has a 30 lap memory that
saved the date of each workout along with all the splits, so that I
could update my running log once a week.
Do any other watches out there have this functionality? I hate the
thought of just storing a single workout.
2.I looked through lots of watch threads out there without luck. Does
anybody know if Casio makes a watch with the features of the old
SDB-300W?
Answer:
1.I think a POLAR S210 is a good decision.
99 lap memory and a lot of other interesting
functions.

I was the one who posted about the new Casio being available at WalMart, and
now I'd like to add that I just bought the solar powered one on EBAY last
night for under $40. The same seller is also selling the battery powered one
for under $30.
2.I also had the 330W for years and loved it. When it died I bought a
Timex which kept 100 splits thinking I would need that many for some of
my races. I soon discovered the Timex was a big pain in the ass, like
driving a stretch Hummer four blocks to by a loaf of bread. When the
Timex died I went looking for 300W and it's simplicity. I found the
STR101 2401 and it was about $30 and very much like the 300W, with big
numbers by the way.
I took a quick look at the Casio web page and I didn't see that model
or if they made a newer version with at different stock number. While
mine is working flawlessly I wish I had bought a spare so if and when
this one dies, I would not need to do what you are doing. ;)
If you do find the replacement model please post back here.
The old 330W was always listed in the ad section in RunnerWorld and
maybe Running Times but I don't read those rags anymore.
