Has anyone else noticed any changes with the 2090 Running Shoes?

Question: I'm heartbroken with the 2090's. They changed something in the area under the ball of foot and my one foot starts to burn after about 3 hours. There is no physical defect.

I do see a very distinct pattern change between the 80's and 90's and I'm certain there is less flexibility under the ball. They may have changed the gel but that's very hard to determine. If I can find a Email address I plan to feed this back to Asics. In the mean time I need to find some 80's to get me through my races next month. Has anyone else noticed any changes with the 90's?

Answer:I know we had a prior exchange about these shoes on another thread recently, and I had noted too that there was distinct upward pressure that I didn't notice on prior versions. I switcehd to a larger size, and that moved the thing (whatever it is) out of any position to bother my feet.

In your case, I wonder more that it is only on ONE foot. Doesn't that strike you as more likely a build nonconformity? You said there's no physical defect, but if it's only on one shoe, either the two shoes don't match or your two feet don't.

What is Your answer?
