Question:
Let me know what you think of the 2100's. I found all the problems I had
with the 2090's gone with the 2100's. I put about 500 on the 2100, and
they behaved great. I have two in the box and will buy more when the
2120's come out.
Answer:I've tried 2100s. I had a problem with the fit. The shoe seems to be a bit
longer than my Brooks GTS5 (what I usually wear for long runs). As a
result, the toe box on my right shoe bends in an odd way and digs into the
top of my foot. I did a 20-miler in them and ended up with bruised
metatarsals. So of course I wore the Brooks for the marathon. There's
nothing wrong with the Brooks, but everyone was raving about the Asics GT
2xxx for the past several years, I had to at least give them a shot.
